Good morning, Bethel family. I haven’t given y’all an update on my progress in a while, so I would like to share an update. I will be starting up a monthly prayer letter again this week for a more detailed update.

I start my 3rd trimester this Tuesday. Once I am done with this trimester, I will have the equivalent of an associate’s degree and will move on to my bachelor’s degree. I will try to come home in April for a short break, but it might be a few more months before I come home again. This year is going to be action-packed for me. That being said, I really appreciate the love and support y’all showed me when I came home last year. It was a much-needed break that allowed me to carry on for the rest of the year.

Prayer requests:

My health – I had the flu and pneumonia back to back last month, and I am still recovering from that. I also haven’t been eating or sleeping as I should. The Lord provided, so I haven’t gone hungry, but I haven’t been consistent in when and what I eat.

Being disciplined – Please pray that I will be more disciplined in taking care of myself and find things to take off my plate to allow me to spend my time better. I have a lot on my plate and it is taking a toll on me. I am making improvements already, but I can use your support and encouragement.

Time management – I am working 35-40 hrs on top of my school hours. Please pray that I will be able to have a good balance between school and work and that I would be able to be consistent in my walk with the Lord.

Summer Missions Trip – I am planning on going to South Africa this year. Please pray that I would be able to get my new passport in time and raise the funds needed to go.

Van Ministry – I stepped away from it a few months ago to give someone else a chance to lead it, but he is no longer part of the training center. I took the reigns back this month, and I am excited about it!!! I have lots of ideas on expanding this ministry this year. Please pray that God would bless this ministry mightily! Please pray for the kids we do have. They don’t have family that really disciplines them and shows them the love they need. Please pray that the van team would be able to show them love and consistency. Please pray that I would be able to be a good example for them. They need a good male figure in their lives, and I am still learning how to be that person for them.

Soul-winning – I am planning on having meetings with around 5 people I met this past month and sharing the Gospel in-depth with them. Also, I am planning on playing soccer with one of them which will put me in contact with 20+ people to witness too. Please pray that I wouldn’t kill the deer and not do anything with it as described in Proverbs.

R – She is one of my coworkers who I have been witnessing too. I feel that she is very close to getting saved. She is wanting to meet with me (I will be connecting her with a female student as well) outside of work to discuss God but finding available times has been a struggle.

M – He is my old co-worker’s boyfriend. He used to be Muslim but turned atheist. We have a good relationship when he visits my work, and we are planning on sitting down where he can ask me the hard questions about Christianity. Please pray that God would soften his heart and make him realize he needs a savior. Please pray for me that I would have the wisdom and discernment to handle whatever M throws my way.
