Welcome to my weekly updates! Thank you all for your interest in following my progress in becoming a missionary. I deeply appreciate your love and support. These past two years of school have been amazing, but I am now finished with all of my classes! All that is left for me to graduate is to complete my 6 month internship.
For this week’s update, I would like to give my fiancĂ©, Tiffany Hailey, a shoutout for graduating from the Our Generation Training Center!!! She has worked hard to get to this point, and it has been exciting to see her grow in her faith for the past year. Now that she is done with school, she will be working until I come back from my internship and start deputation. Please pray for Tiffany and I as we prepare for our wedding next March and for taking the next step in our relationship.
This past Monday, I started working at Publix again as well as Papa John’s. It turns out that I was never officially let go of Publix, so I ended up quitting Jersey Mikes due to low hours and transferring to a Publix that was right next to my Papa John’s store. For now, I still have low hours, but I will be starting to have 60-70 hr work weeks plus however many hrs I put into Church Outreach and other ministries. Please pray for me to have the strength to be able to handle this kind of schedule with my current health. My goal is to be able to save up enough money to pay off at least half of my wedding expenses before I leave for internship
Speaking of my health, I have great news from the doctor! My lung cavities have shrunk in half, and I am showing intermediate improvement in my lungs! Unfortunately, I will still be on meds for another 6-8 months, but I should be fully recovered in time for my wedding. I have been in a constant state of exhaustion, so I am looking forward to not being sick any longer.
Finally, please be in prayer for some people I met this week in addition to praying for my bus kids and their families. While I was working at Publix, I was able to share the complete Gospel with a catholic woman, and she was extremely interested in learning more about salvation by grace through faith. I wasn’t able to invite her to church, but I am praying that God will water and grow the seed planted in her heart. While I was on outreach today, two people told me that they would come to Church tomorrow!!! Finally, continue to be in prayer for a man I met a few weeks ago on Outreach. We have been texting back and forth about whether or not Jesus is God and our savior. Please pray for his salvation.
Prayer Requests:
- For my internship support to be fully raised in time
- For my wedding to be fully paid off
- For me to be a good witness at my new jobs
- For my health to continue to improve
- For the Bus kids to continue to grow in the Lord
- For those I have shared the Gospel with to accept Jesus as their Savior
