Hey everyone, I’m sorry for the late update this week. This past week has been pretty interesting for me though, and I can definitely use your prayers.
Last week, both Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and Vision Baptist Church had their AWANA award ceremony. This was a bitter-sweet moment for me. On the one hand, I was proud of them for their hard work in hiding God’s Word in their hearts and growing closer to God. On the other hand, this is likely to be the last time I will be able to work with these kids in AWANA. I am going to miss them a lot when I leave for my internship. My prayer for them is that the seeds planted in them this past year will grow, and that God will work in their lives in a mighty way.
Last Thursday was my last day of classes! Now, my main focus is to continue raising up the money to be able to complete my internship in New York City. Right now, I am around 10% of my support being raised! I am confident that God will provide the rest for me to be able to finish out my training for Missions work.
After praying about it and seeking counsel, I have decided to stick to only one job. My two schedules have been conflicting with each other, and I have discovered that I simply do not have the energy to keep up with both. I am praying that God will provide for my basic needs along with providing for further needs such as saving up for the married life.
